Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary

The Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary is a nonprofit volunteer organization whose purpose is to provide Falmouth Hospital with financial support to help ensure the best possible healthcare for the community. Thus far, they have raised $6.6 million to help Falmouth Hospital build new facilities, enhance existing programs and purchase equipment.

What does the Auxiliary do?

Auxiliary volunteers manage and staff the Thrift Shop, one of the auxiliary’s most successful fundraising activities. Fundraising events throughout the year provide additional support to Falmouth Hospital. The auxiliary awards annual scholarships to Falmouth students and hospital staff to support education in healthcare. All members are invited to attend the annual meeting and luncheon which features a guest speaker and a celebration of the year’s accomplishments.

Thrift Shop

The Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop is conveniently located at 432 Palmer Ave. in Falmouth at the junction of Palmer Avenue and Jones Road. The shop is managed and staffed entirely by volunteers and 100 percent of our profits benefit Falmouth Hospital.

We have a wonderful array of gently used clothing and housewares. It's a great place to search for something different for your wardrobe or home.

VRI Medical Alert Program

The Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary has partnered with VRI Emergency Response Systems to provide emergency monitoring assistance to those living in the Upper Cape area.

We offer systems that can be used with landline or cellular service. Devices with location services (GPS/WiFi) are also available and allow clients the freedom of feeling secure when they are on the go! 

The Auxiliary takes a very personal approach to serving our clients.

Services include:

• On-site staff to help you through the application process, troubleshoot and answer any questions
• No installation fees
• No contracts
• Installation can occur within 24 to 36 hours upon receiving a completed application

The equipment is owned by the Auxiliary and rented to you on a monthly basis.

The Auxiliary receives a portion of the monitoring fee that allows us to continue our mission of providing not only these services, but many other contributions to the well-being of Falmouth Hospital patients and our community.
