Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary
The Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary is a nonprofit volunteer organization of over 250 members. The Auxiliary has branches in Chatham-Harwich and Orleans and operates the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop in Hyannis. Its Governing Board consists of executive officers, chairs of each branch, the Thrift Shop, and standing committees.
Fundraising
With over $8.9 million raised since its inception, the Auxiliary’s fundraising is an ongoing and vitally important function. Monies raised help Cape Cod Hospital build new facilities, enhance existing programs and purchase equipment.
Auxiliary Thrift Shop
The Thrift Shop is one of the main fundraising “branches” of the Auxiliary. The Shop is dependent solely on donations from the public and it's truly a community effort. The Shop also provides an opportunity for the public to obtain first-quality merchandise at a reasonable price.
Location: 690 Main Street, Hyannis (corner of Stevens Street and Main Street in the West End of Downtown Hyannis)
The Auxiliary Thrift Shop is temporarily closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The shop offers clothing, jewelry, household items, sporting goods, shoes, pocketbooks, and more. It is air-conditioned, with private dressing rooms, and has a boutique look with clean, attractive displays.
Donations are welcome and may be dropped off at the back of the building, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday.
Volunteers are always needed and would be greatly appreciated. It is a wonderful place to meet new friends and have fun while serving the hospital.
