Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary

The Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary is a nonprofit volunteer organization of over 250 members. The Auxiliary has branches in Chatham-Harwich and Orleans and operates the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop in Hyannis. Its Governing Board consists of executive officers, chairs of each branch, the Thrift Shop, and standing committees.

Fundraising

With over $8.9 million raised since its inception, the Auxiliary’s fundraising is an ongoing and vitally important function. Monies raised help Cape Cod Hospital build new facilities, enhance existing programs and purchase equipment.

Auxiliary Thrift Shop

Cape Cod Hospital Thrift Store

The CCH Thrift Shop, located at 690 Main Street (corner of Main and Stevens Street) in Hyannis, MA, is one of the main fundraising “branches” of the Auxiliary. The shop is dependent solely on donations from the public and it's truly a community effort. The shop also provides an opportunity for the public to obtain first-quality merchandise at a reasonable price.

The thrift shop is planning to re-open March 1, 2022. In preparation, the shop welcomes your gently worn women’s and men’s clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, artwork and household items that are in good condition for resale. Due to limited space, only small furniture and small working appliances can be accepted.

During February, donations can be dropped off at the back of the building, from 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Wednesday-Saturday, at the Stevens Street gated entrance. A volunteer will greet you.

Your donations are sold in the shop and proceeds go directly to support Cape Cod Hospital.

Volunteers are always needed and would be greatly appreciated. It is a wonderful place to meet new friends and have fun while serving the hospital.

Thank you for your donations and thank you for supporting Cape Cod Hospital!
