Couch to 5K Training Program and 5K Community Run/Walk

Having a goal is a great way to build momentum in a fitness plan. The Healthy Parks, Healthy People Couch to 5K Training Programs are designed to improve your fitness level from sedentary to either walking or running a 5K course. These self-guided programs can be done at home or on the trails at the National Seashore on Cape Cod.

A community 5K called Healthy Parks, Healthy People (HPHP) 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at 9am to celebrate good health and wellness and to raise funds supporting Cape Cod Healthcare’s Cardiac Rehab Program and the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

The HPHP 5K follows a scenic loop from Nauset Regional High School to the Lighthouse. It’s a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of the Cape Cod National Seashore while running - or walking – with your family, friends or colleagues. Sponsorship levels are available now and are a great way to show your support of community health and wellness.
