Breastfeeding Support
Because breastfeeding is known to provide many health benefits for both babies and their mothers, the birth professionals at Cape Cod Healthcare are committed to supporting women who choose to breastfeed.
Dedicated lactation consultants
Our board-certified lactation consultants are nurses trained to help you get started breastfeeding as soon as your baby arrives, and support you and your baby throughout your breastfeeding experience. As part of the family-centered care provided at our Family Birthplace, you’ll receive all the one-on-one help and guidance you need to succeed.
