Vaccination Appointments at CCHC
From infancy through adulthood, vaccines work with your body’s natural defense system to safely help you develop immunity to a number of serious diseases. In addition to providing protection to your body, staying current on vaccinations lowers your chance of spreading disease, especially to those with weaker immune systems.
Flu Vaccinations
At Cape Cod Healthcare, we know the best way to avoid the flu is to prevent it. While it’s always important to receive a flu vaccine to prevent catching strains of seasonal flu, the prevalence of COVID-19 makes it even more important to protect your health. Cape Cod Healthcare offers both the traditional flu vaccine as well as the senior (high-dose) vaccine.
Additional Vaccinations
Despite receiving necessary vaccines as a child, the protection from some vaccines can wear off. You may also be at risk for other diseases due to your job, lifestyle, travel, or health conditions. The CDC provides a list of recommended vaccinations by age.
