Interventional Pulmonologists specialize in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, using minimally invasive techniques to treat a variety of lung disorders. Michael Ayers, MD, FCCP, is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pulmonologist whose specialties include:

- Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)s bronchoscopy
- Radial ultrasound bronchoscopy
- Malignant and benign airway obstruction

Dr. Ayers is also a key expert in our Lung Nodule Program and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team that includes our thoracic surgeon, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists and our dedicated patient navigator to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
