Cardiology Hospitalists

Patients who are admitted to Cape Cod Hospital with cardiac conditions are treated by our team of Cardiology Hospitalists -- expert physicians focused on providing the best in inpatient cardiac care.

While most Cardiology Hospitalist teams practice at academic medical centers, Cape Cod Hospital leads the trend to provide this personalized, team-based care in a community hospital setting.

Our team is available 24 hours a day to monitor cardiac patients' conditions, order and review test results and create a plan of care for those admitted to the hospital. These specialists may be the first cardiologist a newly diagnosed cardiac patient will see, or may serve as an extension of the community cardiologist a patient sees outside of the hospital. They will evaluate patients and discuss their diagnosis, therapies and treatment options.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, our Cardiology Hospitalists collaborate with other specialists, including surgeons, interventional cardiologists and others to determine the best care for you.

Our Cardiology Hospitalists provide more than clinical expertise; they provide reassurance, guidance and consistent, coordinated care to cardiac patients.
