CCH earns Becker’s Top 100 honor for the fifth time
For the fifth consecutive year, Cape Cod Hospital has been named one of America’s 100 Great Community Hospitals, according to a study by Becker’s Hospital Review. This recognition is based on quality of care and service to our community, and shows that the hospital is successfully and consistently achieving top results in patient care and satisfaction.
CCH was the only hospital in Massachusetts to receive this recognition.
“This honor is extremely gratifying, as it honors the hard work and dedication of our exceptional team at Cape Cod Hospital,” said Michael K. Lauf, Cape Cod Healthcare President and CEO. “The reason this is so gratifying is because we are doing things that are expected of us each and every time, and then we are going above and beyond it.”
Becker’s has published this list annually since 2011. For purposes of the list, Becker’s defines a “community hospital” as one with fewer than 550 beds that has minimal teaching programs.
To compile the list, the Becker’s editorial team selected hospitals based on rankings and awards from independent ratings organizations including iVantage Health Analytics, Truven Health Analytics, Healthgrades, CareChex, the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Leapfrog Group. Organizations cannot pay for inclusion on the list.
