How Can Oncology Financial Navigation Help Me?
The oncology financial navigator team will review the clinician’s course of treatment alongside your individual health insurance plan to determine a clear picture of coverage. From there your advisor will:
- Counsel you appropriately regarding which services are covered by your specific insurance and those that would fall outside the scope of coverage as an out-of-pocket cost
- Provide you and your designated loved ones with the information needed to make the best financial decisions regarding your care
Personal Payment Plans and Access to Funding
Our oncology financial navigator team can also help develop a payment plan for patients, if needed. And for qualified patients, will seek out alternative sources of funding from charitable, philanthropic and other institutions, working collaboratively with the oncology social work and pharmacy team.
