Inpatient Psychiatric Care
Patients age 16 and over can be provided inpatient psychiatric care in our 20-bed adult unit. This setting offers you or your loved one comprehensive and focused assessment for acute psychiatric illness and symptoms that are so severe they cannot safely function at a less-restrictive level of care.
We have a plan for your care
Our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, occupational therapists and a professional nursing staff work collaboratively and compassionately with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan to best meet your specific clinical needs.
A combination of treatments
We offer evidenced-based clinical strategies that use a combination of treatment types, including:
- Medications to manage acute symptoms and restore functional abilities
- Group psychotherapy and patient education to help patients better understand their illness and improve coping skills
- Family education to strengthen a patient social support system
Our staff also works to transition each patient to a less-restrictive level of care as soon as it is clinically indicated.
