Dementia & Alzheimer's Educational Support (Caregivers & Recipients)

These educational support groups provide an opportunity for caregivers to share their experiences in a confidential supportive environment and receive information and guidance regarding care planning strategies. Groups for care recipients also offer an opportunity for socialization in a secure setting with a facilitator.

CCHC Dementia & Alzheimer’s’ Caregiver Support works in cooperation with the Alzheimer’s Association and the Lewy Body Dementia Association to ensure our caregiver support groups meet the highest of standards.

Our in-person support groups are facilitated by Suzanne Faith, RN CDP and are held at:

Mashpee Council on Aging (26 Frank E. Hicks Drive, Mashpee)

• 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays of every month, 1:30p.m. – 3:30p.m.

Dennis Council on Aging (1045 Route 134, South Dennis)

• 1^st and 3^rd Wednesdays of every month, 2:00p.m. – 3:30p.m.

Sandwich Center for Active Living (70 Quaker Meeting House Road, Sandwich)

• 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays of every month, 10:00a.m. – 11:30a.m.

Falmouth Public Library (300 Main Street, Falmouth) 

• 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month, 11:00a.m. – 12:30p.m.

The Terraces Orleans (60 Daleys Terrace, Orleans)

• 2^nd and 4^th Mondays of every month, 10:30a.m. – 12:00p.m.
