Nursing Assistant Trainee Program

Certified Medical Assistant Program

Cape Cod Healthcare, in partnership with Cape Cod Regional Technical High School, is offering a 10-month Medical Assistant Certificate Program designed to prepare individuals for a rewarding clinical career. The hybrid evening classes accommodate working schedules and provide the education needed to pass the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam through the National Healthcare Association. Cape Cod Healthcare will fully reimburse the program cost upon completion of employment milestones, making this a cost-effective pathway into healthcare. Classes begin every September.

• Highlights:
  • 10-Month Hybrid Program: Evening classes (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6–9 p.m.) fit around your current work schedule.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Cape Cod Healthcare covers the full program cost and fees after one year of employment.
  • Career Ready: Prepares you to take the Certified Medical Assistant exam through the NHA.

Certified Surgical Technologist Apprenticeship

Cape Cod Healthcare & 1199SEIU’s Certified Surgical Technologist Apprenticeship Program offers a paid training and education opportunity for individuals seeking a career in surgical technology. Apprentices receive hands-on experience at Cape Cod Hospital or Falmouth Hospital while completing a 16-month Associate of Science degree at Lasell University. The program includes on-the-job training and classroom instruction, and Cape Cod Healthcare and SEIU TUF cover all associated costs. After completing the program and passing the Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) exam, apprentices transition into a full-time, highly coveted surgical technologist role.

  • No-Cost Program: Cape Cod Healthcare and SEIU TUF cover all tuition, training, and exam costs.
  • Dual Training Model: Apprentices receive paid on-the-job training in Sterile Processing and the OR while completing academic coursework through Lasell University.
  • Certification Requirement: Candidates will pass the CST exam within 6 months of approval to transition into the surgical technologist role.
  • Career Advancement: Employees receive a grade/pay increase upon program completion and certification and move into a full-time role.
