Julie Drake, PT, DPT - CCH & FH Executive Director of Rehabilitation Services
Julie leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate, evidence-based care. She earned her BS in Physical Therapy from SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Boston University.
With a strong foundation in orthopedics and decades of experience, Julie has driven major initiatives such as expanding outpatient rehab services, launching cardiac and cancer wellness programs, and partnering with the National Seashore to promote community health.
Julie’s leadership philosophy centers on integrity, collaboration, and creating an environment where therapists thrive. She is passionate about her staff mentoring new graduates, believing their fresh ideas keep the team innovative and forward-thinking.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys Cape Cod’s vibrant arts scene and is an avid supporter of the Cape Symphony Orchestra. For her, rehabilitation is more than recovery—it’s about restoring confidence and improving quality of life.
Sarah Lessard-Reiss, PT, DPT - CCH Manager of Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Sarah brings over three decades of experience to Cape Cod Hospital’s rehabilitation team. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College.
Sarah is committed to lifelong learning and regularly participates in continuing education to stay at the forefront of her field. Her clinical expertise spans orthopedics, sports medicine, and pediatric physical therapy, and she is passionate about creating individualized, collaborative treatment plans that empower patients to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys scuba diving and has explored dive sites across Cape Cod, the United States, and internationally. Her dedication to patient care and leadership makes her an integral part of our rehab department.
Brendeign Covell, PT, DPT – FH Manager of Rehab, Sleep & EEG
Brendeign Covell is the Rehab Manager at Falmouth Hospital, overseeing Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Cardiac Rehab, and the Sleep Lab. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the MGH Institute of Health Professions and has been part of Cape Cod Healthcare since 2016.
With experience in both hospital and home care settings, Brendeign brings a strong clinical background in inpatient care and orthopedics. She is passionate about creating a supportive, team-focused environment where staff feel valued and empowered to grow. Her leadership philosophy is simple: when you take care of your team, they take great care of patients.
A Cape Cod native, Brendeign is proud to care for the community she grew up in and enjoys welcoming new graduates who bring fresh perspectives and energy to the team. She believes CCHC offers a unique opportunity to build a meaningful career while making a lasting impact close to home. Outside of work, Brendeign enjoys spending time in her garden and exploring all that the Cape has to offer throughout the seasons
Bethany Graham, PT, DPT – VNA Rehab Practice Manager
Bethany Graham is a dedicated physical therapist with more than a decade of Home Health experience. She currently oversees the rehabilitation department at the Visiting Nurse Association of Cape Cod. Bethany earned her Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh and completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Slippery Rock University.
As a leader, Bethany emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and a simple guiding principle: “Do your best and ask for help when needed.” She supports her multidisciplinary team with a calm, practical approach. She is committed to creating an environment where clinicians feel supported and able to balance high-quality patient care with a healthy personal life.
Bethany is passionate about maintaining function in the aging population and values the unique opportunity home health provides for deeper patient relationships. She finds great energy in working with new graduates, appreciating their drive, accountability, and desire to do things the right way for truly patient-centered care. At the VNA expect to work at the highest scope of your rehab licensure jurisdiction and receive education in orthopedic wound care and annual skills fairs.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys exercise and long walks, and loves spending time with her kids and family dog. For her, rehabilitation is ultimately about helping people regain confidence, independence, and the ability to live well at home.
