The Float Pool team enhances hospital-wide coverage by flexibly supporting all inpatient departments, ensuring consistent, high-quality care across units.

Falmouth Hospital’s four Med Surg units provide a full spectrum of inpatient care, each with a distinct focus. Med Surg 1 specializes in respiratory support and BiPAP therapy; Med Surg 2 delivers personalized, general medical-surgical care in a calm, supportive setting; Med Surg 3 focuses on surgical recovery, particularly orthopedic and total joint procedures; and Med Surg 4, the largest unit, provides versatile care for a wide range of medical and post-surgical patients.
