- In the summer, the Cape Cod population more than triples, with summer residents and tourists. While we enjoy summer’s energy, we also value the beauty of the shoulder seasons in fall and spring, and the quiet (and lower traffic volumes) of winter. But there’s more: hiking, golf, cycling, tennis, fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, bowling, hunting, ice hockey, softball – the list is endless. And of course, in summer, we love watching our Cape Cod Baseball League hometown teams, featuring the premiere college players (and future MLB players) in the country.
- Our schools – public, parochial and private – include some ranked among the best in the nation. We also have higher education opportunities through Cape Cod Community College and Bridgewater State College, among others.
Boston and Providence and their international airports are only about 90 minutes away by car or scheduled bus. There also are ferries and flights to the islands of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. And the Cape is only a few hours away by car to the New England ski slopes or the wonders of Manhattan.
