Elizabeth Dunton, NP

Vice President of Physician Enterprise

Elizabeth Dunton, NP, was named Vice President of Physician Enterprise for Cape Cod Healthcare in August of 2022. In this role, Elizabeth is responsible for oversight of the operations of CCHC's employed primary and specialty care physician group, Medical Affiliates of Cape Cod (MACC). She oversees the focus on a patient-centric culture that features quality, access, efficiency, operational responsibility and consistent delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer for MACC, overseeing operations for primary and specialty practices. She also served as a key leader during the implementation of Epic, the system-wide electronic medical record.

She has been with Cape Cod Healthcare since 2016, when she started as Administrator of Primary Care Practices. Prior to joining CCHC, Elizabeth served as Practice Administrator for Emerald Physician Services, where she oversaw daily operational processes, providers and staff.

Elizabeth holds a Master of Science in Nursing degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both earned from Boston College. She is also an active volunteer in our community, and enjoys traveling and exploring beautiful Cape Cod with her husband and three children.
