Cynthia Marlin, MS-MHA, RN, ONC

Vice President of Patient care and Perioperative Services, Cape Cod Healthcare

Cynthia Marlin has been named Vice President of Patient Care and Perioperative Services, Cape Cod Healthcare in 2020.

She had most recently served as Vice President of Perioperative and Surgical Services for Cape Cod Healthcare CCHC since 2017. Ms. Marlin has been with CCHC since 2007 and has held various positions throughout her tenure, starting as a Senior Human Resources Advisor at Cape Cod Hospital (CCH). She then became the Clinical Nurse Educator and then Nurse Manager of the Orthopedic Unit at CCH.

In 2010, as the Director of the Total Joint Center, she played a key role in overseeing the orthopedic activities at both Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital.  Ms. Marlin has also served as the Director of Process Improvement as well as the Executive Director of Perioperative Services for CCHC.

Prior to joining Cape Cod Healthcare, she was a Registered Nurse and Nurse Educator at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City, and has also served as an Orthopedic and Neurosurgical program reviewer for the Joint Commission.

Ms. Marlin has a Master of Science Degree in Management and Healthcare Administration from New England College in New Hampshire, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Lycoming College in Pennsylvania. She is board certified in Orthopedic Nursing, and has also achieved her Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification in Process and Project Management.
