Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)
Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) has arrived at the Davenport Mugar Cancer Center at Cape Cod Hospital. It is the last important piece in the hospital’s comprehensive, state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology program.
Digital Mammography
Digital mammography has arrived at Falmouth Hospital. With the addition of digital mammography at FH, Cape Cod Healthcare now has three digital services. Digital mammograms are also done at The Breast Care Center on the Cape Cod Hospital campus and at Fontaine Medical Center in Harwich.
EnSite Velocity Cardiac Mapping System
EnSite Velocity Cardiac Mapping System acquired at Cape Cod Hospital. The EnSite Velocity System creates a three-dimensional model of the patient’s heart, allowing Electrophysiologists to visualize their patient’s unique anatomy in greater detail. This enables the physician to quickly locate the source of the problem and formulate a treatment strategy.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Tanks (HBOT)
The Wound Care Center has enhanced its clinical capabilities with the addition of state-of-the-art Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). It is the only facility on Cape Cod offering HBOT. HBOT, which is administered while the patient lies in an enclosed chamber, is the therapeutic use of oxygen under pressure.
