In 2010, Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital, along with other Cape Cod Healthcare entities, joined forces to forge a comprehensive, system-wide approach to orthopedic care. The Total Joint Center at Cape Cod Hospital and the Total Joint Center at Falmouth Hospital expand on the hospitals’ tremendous track record of caring for orthopedic patients. We offer a multi-disciplinary approach to orthopedic care and treatment that brings to bear resources throughout the CCHC system.

The Total Joint Center at each hospital is comprised of a team of highly-skilled surgeons, dedicated nurses, therapists and technicians. The team develops individualized Care Maps specifically designed to achieve the best outcome for all Total Joint Replacement patients, as well as other orthopedic patients.

Orthopedic surgeons at Falmouth Hospital and Cape Cod Hospital offer a vast array of total joint replacement surgeries, including procedures on hips, shoulders, knees and ankles. Falmouth Hospital was designated as a Blue Distinction® Center for Knee and Hip Replacement by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts last year, for expert care and joint replacement outcomes.
