IRB Review Fee

An IRB fee of $1,500 will be required prior to trial being placed on the agenda for any trial that is sponsored by a private drug company, device manufacturer or any private industry.

Fees are payable to the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation into the general fund. The use of, the funds will be determined by the Foundation procedures.

The IRB review fee covers the costs of the personnel salary for those CCHC staff who are charged with reviewing the protocol, the contract or for meeting time to determine that the systems are in place to manage the trial in a safe and effective manner in addition to copying and distribution.
