Investigator Qualification

All Investigators who are conducting research at a Cape Cod Healthcare entity are required to complete the IRB education for Investigators before conducting any research. The term Investigators includes Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, and or Sub-investigators or any individual who obtains informed consent from subjects.

Investigators must review the educational CD or a transcript of the content of the CD, complete the accompanying exam, submit the exam to the Boston University School of Medicine and return their score to the CCHC Office of Research Compliance. 

The CD and exam are available upon request through the CCHC Office of Research Compliance.

CCHC will reimburse the investigators for the fee required upon return of the exam score.
