Road Closure Near Cape Cod Hospital Feb. 2

Due to the delivery and installation of construction materials for the Cape Cod Hospital intensive care unit renovation and expansion project, a portion of Park Street will be closed to traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2.
During the 12-hour closure period, vehicles will be prohibited from 8 Park to 34 Park. The closure was approved by Barnstable Town officials and police, fire and EMS authorities.
Incoming ambulance traffic will use Bayview Street to access the CCH Emergency Center during the road closure period. Outgoing ambulances will depart via Gleason Street, as always.
Patient access to the Infectious Disease Clinical Services department at 34 Park Street will be unaffected during the closure dates. Patients will be notified by phone prior to their appointment about what to expect in the road closure area.
