February Heart Month Talk in Orleans

In recognition of American Heart Month, Cape Cod Healthcare is pleased to join the Orleans Community Partnership in sponsorship of a lecture on the latest research and advances in fighting heart disease.
Dr. Eleanor Sullivan, a Hyannis-based board-certified Cardiologist, will present “Healthy Heart: What the Research Tells Us,” at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 26, at the Old Firehouse Gallery in Orleans.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women and men in the U.S. Studies show that healthy choices reduce the risk of heart attacks and other heart health issues. Lifestyle changes, such as managing blood sugar, not smoking, keeping blood pressure and cholesterol under control, and staying active and eating right, helps prevent heart disease.
Dr. Sullivan will talk about this and other research around heart disease.
The talk is free and open to the public. The Old Firehouse Gallery is located at 44 Main Street in Orleans, near the intersection of Main Street and Route 6A.
