Blood Drive at Woods Hole Research Center
(Falmouth, May 9, 2011) Cape Cod Healthcare in conjunction with Woods Hole Research Center will hold a blood drive at Woods Hole Research Center at 149 Woods Hole Road in Falmouth. The blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, May 10, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Blood is a renewable resource that healthy donors can give every eight weeks. The blood collected during these drives stays on Cape Cod and is used to treat patients at both Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital.
One pint of blood can be used to help treat as many as two-three people. It takes approximately 45 minutes to donate a unit of blood.
