Please call our office to arrange an appointment. We do not see patients on a walk-in basis. If you have an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are ill and wish to be seen, please call our office at 508-743-0314 and speak to our triage nurse. She will be able to arrange an appointment for you.
Prescription Refills
We are happy to renew your prescriptions. However, we will need 48 hours notice in order to facilitate physician review and pharmacy receipt. Please be prepared with the name of the medication, dosage, and name of your pharmacy. If you are completely out of medication, call our office and speak to the medical assistant assigned to your physician.
Annual Physicals
The physicians of Bourne Medical Group believe in the benefit of a yearly physical. At this visit, we review your medications and your medical history to make sure it is up to date and accurate. We perform a complete physical examination which includes a review of all body related systems and answer any concerns or questions you may have. If pertinent, we will do an EKG. Laboratory testing may be ordered prior to your visit. We will review the results of this testing at this visit. Please bring all of your medicines, including vitamins and herbals with you to this appointment. It is very important that we know everything that you take so that we can address possible side effects or interactions. If you have any questions about this visit, please feel free to contact our office staff and they will assist you.
Medicare Patients
Please note that Medicare considers annual physical examinations as a "Non Covered" service. You will be asked to sign an Advanced Beneficiary Notice, acknowledging that you understand that you will be billed for the physical, before services are rendered.
Secondary insurances typically do not cover what Medicare considers a "Non Covered" service. If this charge will create a financial hardship for you, please contact our financial office at 508-743-0314 and they will be able to assist you.
Billing
We will make every effort to work with you. It is very important that you understand what your insurance covers and call them directly with any questions. We participate with most major insurance carriers. Please check with your carrier before making your appointment to be certain we are participating physicians in your particular plan. You will be asked to present your insurance card at the time of visit. All applicable copays and/or deductibles will be accepted at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept Cash, Check, Visa, and MasterCard. We do not accept American Express or Discover.
