You decide how to spend your time.

Ninety percent of our ER patients are in a room within 25 minutes or less. At our Urgent Care Centers, most patients are in and out in an hour.

While no wait time can be guaranteed, you have the comfort of knowing you’ll be treated by our expert Emergency Department physicians whether at the hospital or at our four Urgent Care Centers. Our board-certified ER physicians and specially trained staff are available to you when you need us -- seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

About the ER Wait Times

ER Wait Times represent the time it takes for a patient to be placed into a treatment room in the hospital Emergency Center.

Ninety percent of patients who come into our Emergency Departments are in a room within 25 minutes or less. This number represents patients with minor injuries or illnesses. Patients are evaluated upon arrival and are then seen by a qualified medical professional in priority order, based on the severity of their condition. Please remember, patients are evaluated and the priority of their condition established upon arrival. We provide care to the most critical cases first. The Cape Cod Healthcare wait times are approximate and intended for informational purposes only.

About the Urgent Care Wait Times

Most patients to our four Urgent Care centers are treated and released in about an hour for minor illnesses and injuries. Our Urgent Care centers are also equipped with state-of-the-art equipment as well as x-ray for visits requiring additional attention, but not requiring Emergency Room care. More complicated cases may require a longer visit, resulting in increased wait times.
