Falmouth Hospital a Joint Commission Top Performer

Falmouth Hospital has been recognized by The Joint Commission as a 2011 Top Performer on Key Quality Measures™. Falmouth Hospital was cited for its excellence in three key quality measures: heart attack, pneumonia and surgical care. The Joint Commission (TJC), an independent, not-for-profit organization, accredits and certifies more than 19,000 healthcare organizations and programs in the U.S., including Falmouth Hospital and Cape Cod Hospital. TJC recently released its Improving America’s Hospitals: The Joint Commission Annual Report on Quality and Safety 2012. The report recognized 620 hospitals that are “leading the way nationally in using evidence-based care processes closely linked to positive patient outcomes.” Falmouth was one of 10 hospitals in Massachusetts to be named to the list
