Women's Health Initiative
In 2006, the Women’s Health Forum was created by a group of Cape Cod Healthcare’s benefactors who wanted to build a strong network of women to support and promote our health system through advocacy, education and philanthropy.
Almost ten years later, these three key focus areas - advocacy, education and philanthropy - are more important than ever. As Cape Cod Healthcare actively works to be part of the solution in healthcare, we must do what we can to continue building and strengthening this network of women who support and promote Cape Cod Healthcare and our efforts to deliver comprehensive and coordinated women’s health services to the community.
Through the Women's Health Initiative we hope to increase community involvement and support through educational events in order to share our knowledge of women’s health and wellness issues, as well as promote the quality and skill of our physicians, services and resources which are available here on Cape Cod.
We need to encourage charitable support of women’s health services and programs by effectively communicating Cape Cod Healthcare’s philanthropic needs and opportunities and by stewarding the invaluable relationships we have with so many of you. The advocacy and friendship of our supporters has been invaluable to our efforts of bringing women together in support of Cape Cod Healthcare. We are tremendously grateful to our many sponsors who have financially supported these events by underwriting the costs of the educational forums and the receptions.
