Yawkey Emergency Center Open House Celebration
Thursday, February 26, 2015
Falmouth Hospital, Falmouth
In 2013, Cape Cod Healthcare kicked off Falmouth Hospital's "$50 Million, 50 Years, 50 More," celebration with the groundbreaking of a new emergency care facility. On February 26th, 2015, guests celebrated the completion of this project and one of the most significant investments in Falmouth Hospital's history. Cape Cod Healthcare's ambitious plans to build this modern, state-of-the-art emergency center would not have been possible without the support of our many friends and benefactors. Most extraordinary are those who profoundly impacted the future of emergency care on Cape Cod with the transformational support: The Yawkey Foundations, the Lyndon Paul Lorusso Charitable Foundation, the Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary and the Josephine and Louise Crane Foundation.
Yawkey Emergency Center Auxiliary Dedication Ceremony
Friday, February 27, 2015
The Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary was honored for their efforts to raise $1M for the waiting room in the new Yawkey Emergency Center. Both Mike Lauf, Cape Cod Healthcare’s President and CEO and Dr. Robert Davis Medical Director of the Emergency Department, addressed the group and praised them for their consistent and dedicated work. The plaque representing the Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary’s gift honors one of their own, Les Wrigley who has worked as a volunteer in the Emergency Center for several hours each day since 1996. The Auxiliary has raised almost $5M for Falmouth Hospital.
