Cape Cod Healthcare Occupational Therapists work to prevent and treat the occurrence of Lymphedema. Lymphedema is swelling, usually in arms or legs, caused by blockage in your lymphatic system. Patients, particularly those who have undergone lymph node removal during breast cancer are at risk for developing this condition. Early identification can provide relief and improve range of movement for patients.
