MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Watch a video describing the MRI procedure.
MRI is a painless, non-invasive test used to diagnose and treat medical conditions. It uses radiofrequency waves and a strong magnetic field to produce clear, multidimensional images of internal organs and structures.
MRI technology is particularly helpful in diagnosis of:
- Back pain
- Head and neck conditions
- Shoulder, elbow, wrist, fingers, hips, knees, ankle and foot ailments
- Abdomen and pelvic diseases
- Breast cancer
Increased Patient Comfort
Some patients have a fear of becoming claustrophobic while undergoing an MRI. Our newest machines have more space and a much larger opening, which makes the test more comfortable.
