Jeffrey S. Dykens, CPA

Mr. Dykens joined Cape Cod Hospital as a Corporate Accountant in 1992. Since then he has served as Director of Financial Planning, Corporate Controller, VP of Finance, Interim Chief Financial Officer and from 1993-2003 as CCH’s Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining CCH, Mr. Dykens was a Senior Auditor with Deloitte & Touche in Boston. He was self-employed in the Cape Cod commercial fishing industry prior to his graduation from Northeastern University where he received a Masters in Accounting in 1989 and a Masters of Business Administration in 1999. Mr. Dykens graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Psychology in 1975 and received a graduate certificate in Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health in 1999.
Mr. Dykens’ professional affiliations include memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Mass Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the MA/RI Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. Mr. Dykens has been active in the governance of the Chatham and Monomoy Regional school systems, the Duffy Community Health Center for the Homeless in Hyannis, and the Cape and Islands United Way. He is currently a selectman in Chatham, MA.
