Cape Cod Hospital Earns Becker’s Top 100 Honor

Cape Cod Healthcare is pleased to announce that for the fourth consecutive year, Cape Cod Hospital has been named one of America’s 100 Great Community Hospitals according to a study by Becker’s Hospital Review. This recognition is based on quality of care and service to our community, and shows that the hospital is successfully and consistently achieving top results in patient care and satisfaction.

To compile this list, the Becker's Hospital Review editorial team analyzed independent information, recognition and rankings from a variety of industry sources, including iVantage Health Analytics, Truven Health Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters), CareChex and American Hospital Association.

“This recognition is a result of the hard work and dedication of our exceptional team at Cape Cod Hospital,” said Michael Lauf, President and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare, parent company of Cape Cod Hospital. “Our talented and compassionate physicians, nurses, technologists, support staff and volunteers care deeply about their neighbors, and provide them with care that is among the best in the country.”

Cape Cod Hospital is one of just three Massachusetts hospitals on the Becker’s Top 100 Community Hospitals 2015 list. Becker's Hospital Review features up-to-date business and legal news and analysis relating to hospitals and health systems.

“Community hospitals play a critical role in protecting access to healthcare for millions of individuals in our country,” said Lindsey Dunn, Editor in Chief of Becker’s Hospital Review. “When we are our sickest and most vulnerable, few want to be far from homes and families. Community-based providers continue to ensure we can receive high-quality care close to home, and the hospitals selected for our 100 Great Community Hospitals list exemplify this mission.”
