Cape Cod Healthcare Rolls Out Vehicle Donation Program
If you are ready to let go of your old car, truck, or even your boat or RV, and want to save yourself the cost of disposal, you may want to consider donating it to Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC).
CCHC is launching a vehicle donation program this month, just in time for the end of the tax year. Those who donate a car can deduct its fair market value from their taxable income.
“We’ve been asked about this donation option in the past and are pleased to have found a highly reputable national vendor to ensure such transactions are easy and seamless,” said Kevin Ralph, chief development officer at Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation. “This program provides an alternate way for people to donate to Cape Cod Healthcare and support health services that benefit the entire Cape Cod community.”
After a national search, CCHC partnered with Insurance Auto Auction’s Donation Division because of its ability to provide consistent returns and services across the area served by Cape Cod Healthcare. The IAA Donation Division handles the entire vehicle donation process - from the initial call or online inquiry, to providing tax documentation and other donor services once the vehicle is sold.
CCHC can accept vehicles from all 50 states and 80 percent of the proceeds are used to support health services for Cape Cod patients and their families.
