Fontaine Outpatient Center to Hold Community Event
Fontaine Outpatient Center in Harwich will hold a Community Celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. on June 21, at the facility on Long Pond Drive off Exit 11. The event, which is free and open to the public, is being held to celebrate the new renovations and the opening of Urgent Care Services at Fontaine.
The Community Celebration will follow the sixth annual Harwich Road Race, which will be held that morning from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Harwich Port. Residents and visitors can come to Fontaine after the race for refreshments and fun.
The Community Day at Fontaine will feature activities and information for the whole family. Among the things you will find at the event are:
- Summer picnic fare
- Ice cream and kettle corn
- Family fun activities
- Health screenings
Fontaine Outpatient Center has much to celebrate as we enter the summer of 2014. New Urgent Care Services opened on May 19 and features Cape Cod Healthcare’s unique model. With this model, Urgent Care Services at Fontaine is staffed entirely by emergency medicine-trained and experienced physicians - the only urgent care services of its kind in the region. The model has been successfully in place at Stoneman Outpatient Center in Sandwich since 2013
Come to Fontaine Urgent Care when you need prompt attention for a medical problem that does not require emergency room care, such as:
- Sore throats and earaches
- X-rays and splinting
- IV medications
- Urinary tract infections
- Much more
In addition to Urgent Care at Fontaine, you will find a newly renovated main lobby area and an expanded and updated C-Lab Service Center. You will also find the other quality services you have come to expect at Fontaine, including imaging services, and primary care and specialty care practices.
