Cape Cod Hospital Rehab Services Open in Orleans
Cape Cod Hospital Rehabilitation Services at Orleans will open its doors on Monday, March 24, at 21 Old Colony Way. The new facility, which will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, is located in the back of the Orleans Marketplace.
Staffing at the new location will be provided by the entire rehabilitation staff currently at Fontaine Medical Center in Harwich. Rehabilitation services at Fontaine will close on Thursday, March 20.
“The same dedicated staff will be working with patients in the new Orleans location, which has nearly twice the room as we had at Fontaine,” said Julie Drake, PT, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Cape Cod Hospital. “This new location will improve access to our quality rehabilitation services for patients living in the Lower and Outer Cape.”
In addition to the expanded space, the Orleans site will also include several new pieces of equipment. An additional physical therapist has also been hired for the Orleans location.
With the opening of the Orleans facility, patients now have two locations on the Lower Cape from which to choose Cape Cod Hospital Rehabilitation Services. In addition to the Orleans site, CCH Rehab Services are also located at the Oppenheim Medical Building on Route 28 in Chatham.
CCH Rehabilitation Services offer physical therapy and occupational therapy services, treating patients with a variety of diagnoses including sports injuries, orthopedics, neurologic disorders, balance disorders, vertigo, post-surgical diagnoses, hand injuries, and lymphedema.
